SAB Zero-visit February 2024
Our first SAB meeting took place in February 2024. This zero-visit was used to introduce PRIMA goals and vision and present the expertise and resources available in the Centre. The report from this visit in the initial phase of the Centre serves as a precious guide to develop the further strategies and work in PRIMA.
PRIMA’s Steering Board includes leaders from host and partner institutions
PRIMA is very fortunate to have an extremely skilled and functional steering board. The board members have leading positions within their institutions, and both scientific background within the field of immunology and medical sciences, and experience with other Centres of Excellence in Norway.

In 2024, PRIMA established a User Representative board
The user board will contribute to the quality of research with their insights and experiences, and strengthen trust and collaboration between the Centre and the community.
The current User Representatives in PRIMA have strong background from patient organizations.
One of our recently recruited user representatives, Per Werner Torben Jonsson, sadly passed away this autumn before we could begin our work together. A powerful reminder of the importance of our research and a strong motivation to continue the hard work.
"Research provides future hope for those of us who have extensive experiences with cancer. Precision medicine also offers hope for more direct and gentle treatment. PRIMA can represent a quantum leap into such a future, which we, as users with our experience, can help shape"
